I am a Muslim girl, and these are my beliefs.

I bring to you a new Islamic resource for Muslim girls—a resource designed to strengthen our Muslim girls in their Islamic beliefs, In’shaa’Allah. The reason I created this pack is because there are so many agendas out there trying to destroy the beliefs of our children. We only have to look around at Muslim children to see what is happening to them. As Muslim women, we know that the only thing that gets us through this life is our strong belief in Allah. That is what we hold on to through every calamity, and that is what we are grateful for in every blessing from Allah.

Our Muslim girls will one day be mothers and teachers, In’shaa’Allah, so there is nothing more important than making sure they have the correct beliefs. Our Muslim girls will raise the next generation of Muslims and be the guardians of Islam.

This is why I created this resource. Our girls need to know their identity, understand who they are, why they were created, what all their beliefs mean, and how to practice and put them into action. Showing them the proof of what Allah has said. We can’t just expect our children to know their beliefs; we need to teach them about it.

What is included in this resource:

    •    Lesson plans for the teacher.

    •    A fun “All About Me” worksheet for the girls to complete. This includes things like their name and the meaning of their name, favorite color, hobbies, favorite subject, and some more fun things.

    •    A lesson about Eemaan (belief): What does it mean? It covers how belief is in the heart, speech upon the tongue, and actions of the limbs, explaining each one of these and how belief increases and decreases.

    •    A lesson on how she is a Muslim girl who will, In’shaa’Allah, be a mother one day, raising the next generation of Muslims and guarding Islam. This lesson covers the pillars of Eemaan—how she believes in them, studies them, and tries her best to live by them.

    •    A personal craft lesson of mine detailing all the pillars of Eemaan. If you can afford to buy the little crafty bits for the girls, this will really inspire them, In’shaa’Allah. This one is personal and only for those who purchase the resource. If you don’t want to complete this one, I have included a worksheet to add all the pillars of belief.

    •    A lesson about belief in Allah’s oneness (Tawheed): What Tawheed means, how a Muslim girl should worship Allah alone, and not join partners with Him.

    •    A lesson on the three categories of Tawheed with a drawing activity to complete.

    •    We finish off with the proofs from the Qur’aan for the categories of Tawheed, Alhamdulillah.

I hope this resource reaches the Muslim girls who need it, and I hope the included lesson plans help my Muslim sisters who are mothers and teachers in our community. May Allah aid us in delivering this resource to them, and may Allah instill the correct beliefs within their hearts so they have the tools to navigate this life and prepare for the meeting with Allah.

This is Part One of my series. Part Two, In’shaa’Allah, will focus on A Muslim Girl and Her Role Models, In’shaa’Allah. May Allah aid me in completing that one.

Please feel free to share this far and wide within our community and with our sisters in other countries. Jazakumullahu khairan to all of you supporting me on this journey. You have no idea how it makes me feel knowing Muslim girls and boys around the world are using these resources. Without the aid of Allah, nothing is possible. I am truly grateful, Alhamdulillah.
