Have You Taught Your Teens About Ghusl?

As Muslim parents and educators, discussing topics like ghusl (ritual purification) with teens or children approaching puberty can feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, many parents either delay the conversation or simply tell their children to "take a bath or shower on Fridays," missing crucial aspects such as the removal of impurities after ejaculation, wet dreams, menstruation and so on.

This knowledge is not just essential for daily life but will also be needed after death, when ghusl must be performed.

If you're unsure how to approach this topic, don't worry!

As a mother of teens and an educator, I realized the need for a comprehensive resource that would make teaching ghusl easier for parents and teachers. Whether you choose to guide your teens through it or let them explore on their own, this resource simplifies the subject in a way that is easy to understand and apply.

This guide includes detailed information with proofs and evidences about ghusl, thoughtful questions, and a fun activity. There's even a poster you can laminate for the bathroom, so the entire family can benefit from the reminders.

It’s crucial that we, as parents and teachers, take the responsibility of teaching our children these important acts of worship. Ghusl is not something they'll learn in school, and waiting until later in life could leave them in a dangerous situation. Equip your teens with this vital knowledge as they approach or enter puberty, ensuring they understand its significance and how to perform it correctly.

I've created this resource specifically for Muslim children, using simple language to ensure they grasp the importance and reasons behind this essential act of worship.
